Vocational Day Program
Norshel undertakes various contracts that range from basic packaging to more complex tasks such as collating and assembly. Norshel prides itself in being able to offer a wide variety of different work skills. As well as learning work skills, individuals have an opportunity to enhance their social, decision-making, and communication skills.

Recreational Program
Norshel Centre's recreation program offers individualized recreation/leisure options within the community. The program provides continuous support and attempts to teach or improve pro-social behaviour, decision-making skills, communication skills, and leisure action planning skills.

Summer Programs
Norshel's summer program offers daytime support to non-graduating students. The program includes a combination of recreational and vocational activities.
Program Details
- Two separate three-week blocks (July and August)
- Combined recreational/vocational activities
- Relationship building with postgraduate programs
- Safe transportation with qualified drivers
Work Experience Program
Norshel Centre provides work experience for high school students from September to June. This enables students to get a feel for what life will be like in the working world upon graduation. Students are given exposure to different jobs that Norshel provides for more informed career decisions.
